Dorothy Middleton

One of Mastermind's oldest contestants, writer and lecturer Dorothy Middleton was 75 when she appeared on Mastermind in 1987, taking 'The Exploration of Africa 1788 -1888' as her subject. She did well but lost to Kevin Ashman who would take the Mastermind title when he returned to the programme in 1995.
