Ingram Wilcox

A civil servant from Bath who appeared on Mastermind in 1980. He won his heat with 'The Crusades 1095-1192' and took 'Mammals' in his semi-final - despite the remarkable breadth of this subject, he won. In the final he reverted to his original subject and lost to Fred Housego. Ingram's other quiz appearances have included Fifteen-to-One (finalist in series 15 and 16), Brain of Britain and Countdown. In 2004 he appeared on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire but sadly did not get beyond the 'fastest finger first' stage.
