Margaret Thomas

A housewife and former teacher from Brereton, Staffordshire, who first appeared on Mastermind in 1990, taking 'The Life and Reign of Queen Victoria' as her subject. Returning in 1996, she offered 'Famous British Poisoners 1850-1950' - a bizarre subject but it took her to the semi-finals!

Margaret's other television appearances include Countdown, Crosswits, Turnabout, Fifteen-to-One, Runway and Catchword. She was also runner-up in Brain of Britain on the radio in 1991.
