Miriam Collard
A Mastermind contestant in 1996, Miriam selected as her initial subject 'The Life of Owen Glendower', and it took her to the semi-finals. In 1998, she entered the radio version of the programme; offering 'Greek Mythology' as her new subject she scored 22, making her the runner-up in the heat on passes. For her semi-final she chose 'The Sharpe Novels of Bernard Cornwell' and won with 27, just one point ahead of the other three contestants locked in a three-way tie. For the final her subject was 'The Rebecca Riots', and she scored 24 to finish in third place.
