Peter Chitty

A telephonist from Brighton who appeared on the 250th edition of Mastermind in 1987, taking 'The History of the British Secret Service 1909-40' as his specialist subject. He was inspired to join the Mastermind Club after hearing Magnus Magnusson extol its virtues on television, and he is currently the Membership Secretary. Peter has also appeared on Fifteen-to-One and was a member of a one-off quiz team assembled by Trevor Montague called 'I've Started So I'll Finish'. When Mastermind was re-launched on the radio in 1998, Peter appeared in the first show, taking 'The Life and Works of Dashiell Hammett'.
