A planning manager from Prescot, Merseyside who appeared on Mastermind in 1988, having had his grounding in the renowned Merseyside Quiz League. He won his heat with 'The History of the Arabs AD 200-750' and his semi-final with 'The History of Roman Britain AD 43-367'. Reverting to his initial subject for the final, he set a target of 32 but finished in third place.
