Richard Thompson

A retired banker who appeared on Mastermind in 1977, taking 'The Mahrattas and Their Wars 1657-1848' as his subject and coming second in his heat. He is the only Masterminder to have sired two other Masterminders - Chantal Thompson (1990) and Peter Thompson (1994).
