Robert Gibson

A Mastermind semi-finalist from 1993 whose real moment of glory came in 1998. In that year he took part in the inaugural radio Mastermind, winning his heat with 'The Solar System' and his semi-final with 'The Life and Reign of Charles II'. He scored respectively 31 and 32, the two highest scores achieved in that particular series. In the final he took 'Robert the Bruce' and with a score of 30 won the title of Radio 4 Mastermind for 1998.
