100 percent

100% is a multiple-choice (often multiple-guess) quiz featuring one hundred questions in each show.
With questioning from "the voice of Robin Houston" (unseen), the three contestants do battle simply to answer correctly as close to 100% of the questions as they can.
The game is divided up into question categories that are usually 10 questions in length. Most questions have three options (A, B or C) although there is a smattering of True or False questions throughout the game. Players have about three seconds after the question is completed to press their button to answer each question. The winner of the show collects £100, and has the option to return for the next show and defend their title - they nearly always do.
In the first half of the show, contestants are all informed of each others scores in the form of a percentage. In the second half, just the scores are announced and "Only the viewers" know who has scored what. For the last ten questions, revised scores appear on the screen for each contestant after every question so you can tell if it's going to be close.
In the event of a tie, a sudden-death situation results, with the quickest contestant to answer a subsequent question correctly declared the winner. If answered incorrectly by all parties involved, further questions are used.
Aside from the extreme obscurity of many of the questions, this is a no-nonsense quiz show.
