Bill McKaig

Bill McKaig is a Minister with the Church of Scotland in the Gorbles in Glasgow. He is a fan of Scottish Cricket and Robert Louis Stevenson.

Besides the ultimate Fifteen to One achievement of getting a 433 maximum, Bill McKaig once had to endure a show where, in the final, he was reduced to one life early on. His two opponents consistently nominated him in the hope of eliminating him, and he in turn nominated them back in order to save his precious life. Eventually the questions were exhausted and McKaig won the show.

Unfortunately Bill will only now be seen in special episodes of Fifteen to One as he was defeated in the last series of 1999. Interestingly, in this very show, at the end of the first round, the state of play was 10 down, 5 to go; the same situation as occurred when he scored his maximum.
