6) Larry Grayson.
11) Ted Rogers.

2) Nicholas Parsons.
7) Jeremy Paxman. [Or Eamonn Holmes, Jeremy Clarkson, Ian Hislop, Ruby Wax, Clive Anderson, Anne Morris, Nick Hancock or Mark Lamarr. WGS reads the whole list out to confirm nobody here tonight's on it.]
12) Terry Wogan. [William G. points out that it's a good job that Terry wasn't called Kerry. People take far too long to get this. Wogan: "I'm going to give you such a slap..." WGS: "The penny's just dropped, has it?"]

13) Cilla Black - Blind Date.

Scores: GBP 800 - GBP 800 - GBP 1100. They don't seem quite right somehow. There is much moaning that team C - and Parsons in particular - seem to get more extra questions than the rest.

Round Three: on the buzzer. Philip is playing for team A, Jeremy for team B, Nicholas for team C. Much hoo-ha as the celebs change places. Philip and Nicholas don't have a clue what's going on. (Philip even makes reference to this the next day on the live lottery inserts in Winning Lines?)

1) On which BBC programme are a snooker player, a tennis player and a footballer are the regular participants?
[Jeremy correctly answers "A Question Of Sport".]

2) Which programme on Channel 4 was the first on British television to give away a million pounds?
[Philip wrongly answers "The Big Breakfast" - it's "TFI Friday". Though I do note that BB did announce million-pound premium bond winners on air.]

3) Which quiz show had many of its contestants asking to be...

Mitch interrupts forcibly and asks WGS how much they have made. WGS says 800... 900... 2700 pounds. This should be 800... 900... and 2800 pounds
