Fifteen-to-One - Schools 01
The first Fifteen to One Schools series shown in the summer of 1999 was eventually won by Audenshaw School who, through a superb Grand Final performance by Ian Moss clawed back into contention, before storming ahead to take the cup.
The format of this series was different to that of normal 15 to 1. It was structured in the form of auditions, followed by a series of televised heats before the top nine schools on the leader board each fought two others for a place in the series final. One of the schools that made it to the final was Westbourne High, and Mark Seager has written a detailed account of his experience at 15 to 1 Schools.
