Round Britain Quiz

Round Britain Quiz involves mind-bending puzzles and quirky connections. The show is presented by Nick Clarke (pictured) and involves two teams, testing their skills of lateral thinking as they grapple with cryptic questions of cultural and historical knowledge.

Nick Clarke also presents The World at One. He began his professional life as a journalist on The Yorkshire Post, joining the BBC in 1973 as Northern Industrial Correspondent and quickly moving on to The Money Programme. In 1984 he joined Newsnight. His first radio job was presenting The World This Weekend and he has presented The World at One since 1989. Nick also chairs the debate series Straw Poll for Radio 4. He has recently published a biography of the veteran writer and journalist Alistair Cooke.
