Simon Curtis
Simon Curtis, of Castleford, West Yorkshire has run the Five Towns Quiz League in Yorkshire for 15 years and won £250,000 on Who Wants to be a Millionaire? in 2005.
He won his heat on Mastermind in 2006 but in the semi, he passed on eight questions on the films of Jim Carrey and got three wrong to end up with a specialist subject score of 1 and a final score of 9.
